We can now provide a more environmental friendly use of the building, reducing the dependency on plastic dishes. We can provide a professional meeting environment for off-site meetings in an historic venue. Check us out for your next event. Hurricane Hazel In 2004, on the 50th anniversary of Hurricane Hazel, Heritage York released a special commemorative video (in both VHS and DVD format) with an introduction by local historian, Mike Filey. This special 1-hour video consists of entirely original material using 1954 8mm film and photographs accompanied by personal interviews presenting people's recollections of the disaster. This project attempts to bring an understanding of the event, rather than an account of it. We are constantly collecting more material. Copies are available for purchase. |
